Advocate for Cats is a monthly spot-on type medication for the prevention of heartworm, and the treatment of fleas, hookworm, roundworm, ear mites and lungworms in kittens, small cats and ferrets.

Advocate for Cats is very easy and convenient to use. Simply part the cat’s hair behind the back of the neck, place the applicator tips of the Advocate to the skin level and apply onto the skin. Advocate has been shown to kill adult and larval fleas within 20 minutes of contact by absorption via the flea intersegmental membranes. Stops fleas from feeding in 3 to 5 minutes. Fleas are not required to bite the animal to receive a lethal dose. One application will protect your animal and your family from all these nasty parasites. 

One application lasts up to a month. Do not use in kittens under 9 weeks of age. 

Ferrets

Treatment with Advocate for kittens & Small Cats (orange pack) is recommended. The treatment of ferrets weighing less than 0.8 kg should be based on a risk-benefit assessment by a veterinarian. If ferrets less than 0.8 kg require flea control, they may be safely treated with ADVANTAGE. Treatment of ferrets may be repeated at two weekly intervals when flea infestation is particulary heavy.
